Michael Venia

Michael Venia’s musical journey started at the age of 13 when he grabbed an accordion and drum kit in the house and started recording original songs on a 4 track tape mixer. He quickly dropped the accordion, but kept with drumming and soon after, got a guitar to accompany his songwriting. He grew up in Saudi Arabia during the 90s grunge era which has influenced his sound that has evolved over the years to an indie folk-rock sound.

As a singer-songwriter, Michael prides himself in writing honest, authentic music rooted in life experiences. He’s no stranger to love and loss. He lost both of his parents as well as his firstborn son.
